Review:
In effect a prequel, this was even more violent and mindless than its predecessor, albeit toned down for British cinema audiences, and introduced the dreaded ingredient of a smart Chinese kid into the bargain, thus sanitising all the dubious mayhem and racism. It nonetheless showed that its producers had lost none of their flair for rollercoaster entertainment in the interim.
