Sorry, Wrong Number (1948)
Country: US
Technical: bw 89m
Director: Anatole Litvak
Cast: Barbara Stanwyck, Burt Lancaster, Ann Richards
Synopsis:
A bedridden woman convinced she is being stalked by a killer relies on her telephone as a lifeline to the outside world.
Review:
The dialogue and some of the acting seem pretty poor now, but there are still several well-directed sequences and the ending sends a chill down the spine alright. Stanwyck does well enough.
