St. Ives (1976)

Country: US
Technical: col 93m
Director: J. Lee Thompson
Cast: Charles Bronson, John Houseman, Maximilian Schell, Harry Guardino, Jacqueline Bisset

Synopsis:

An L.A. burglar hires a crime writer to negotiate the return of sensitive stolen documents.

Review:

Above-average cast for a Bronson pic, and after this J. Lee would become a regular collaborator. It's all a bit like a Marlowe story, really, with lots of interested parties, lots of what-have-yous (to quote a famous shamus). Somehow too sophisticated for old Bronson, to be credible, but it's a time passer.
