Synopsis:
Two sisters keep their brother bricked up in the cellar to prevent him from fighting in the Second World War. They forget to let him out.
Review:
One gives the plot away without compunction for this is an abysmal piece of filmmaking, typical of the poverty of talent working in Britain at the time. After a series of fumblingly shot killings by some unnamed beast, complete with the obligatory titillation of a coitus interruptus, we are condemned to keep company with the sisters who have a dreadful secret to keep, another in a long line of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? setups, until the inevitable discovery is made. Unconvincingly plotted, to say the least, with suspense reliant on some hoary point-of-view shots, and the actresses reduced to the ignominy of having to mouth some very wooden dialogue. The music has to be heard to be believed, a combination of The Saint and contemporary porno.
