£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/2.39:1 147m
Director: Anthony Russo, Joe Russo
Cast: Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Rudd, Daniel Brühl, Tom Holland, William Hurt

Synopsis:

With the Avengers' impunity and freedom to act confronting mounting pressure on the part of reactionary elements in government to 'clip their wings', an aggrieved party resorts to terrorism to get their attention, implicating Bucky (the Winter Soldier) in the attack. Meanwhile, differences of opinion within the team over whether to stand down polarize around Stark and Rogers, and open conflict does not seem far away.

Review:

Or Avengers Disassemble, as you might say. Now, it's never cool to see your heroes fight each other, and of course the causes are based on a misunderstanding - well, almost. In short, this is the superheroes without a worthy adversary and so taking it out on each other, which can be a wearingly inconsequential exercise. And so we have to inflict real injury on one of them to maintain the vein of seriousness that generally obtains in the Captain America/Avengers part of the franchise. Enough. It is never dull.
