Crimes of the Future (1970)

£0.00

Country: CAN
Technical: col 65m
Director: David Cronenberg
Cast: Ronald Mlodzik, Jon Lidolt, Tania Zolty

Synopsis:

In a city of the future the ravages of a cosmetic-derived disease known as Rouge's Malady have made the adult female population extinct. As scientists puzzle over the evolutionary ramifications for the male species, paedophilia seems the key to survival.

Review:

Obscure, positively gnomic science fiction, of interest only in as much as it reveals its creator's obsessions in early form. There is no dialogue, only a soundtrack of reflections by what one assumes to be the character of Adrian Tripod (another Cronenberg trademark, the unlikely name), and some clunky sound effects.
