The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: bw 115m
Director: Michael Curtiz
Cast: Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Patric Knowles

Synopsis:

Story of the regiment of lancers that took part ultimately in the Crimean action, and the two brothers who both love the same woman.

Review:

Much of this takes place in India and concerns the delivery by Flynn of a troop of horses to the Black Sea. The pauses for romantic subplotting are regrettable, and at times shockingly acted, but there is a handsome array of contract talent on display and the adventure at times takes wing with a brio peculiar to American films of this era.
