One of those 'péril en la demeure' films that swamped us at the turn of the nineties (Sleeping with the Enemy, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, Pacific Heights), showing Miss Hawn's uncommon longevity as a leading lady in peril. This one is only fair to middling, with one or two grand guignolesque effects and a twist you'd be a novice not to see coming.
