Decision at Sundown (1957)
Country: US
Technical: col 77m
Director: Budd Boetticher
Cast: Randolph Scott, John Carroll, Karen Steele
Synopsis:
A stranger and his sidekick arrive in the town of Sundown to learn that the man he holds responsible for the death of his wife is about to get married himself.
Review:
One of the less brutal of the Scott-Boetticher westerns, perhaps because it doesn't take place on the trail, though it does elaborate the 'man with a past' theme common to them all. Efficient but unremarkable, it would probably be forgotten were it not part of the cycle.
