By numbers horror hokum which fails to make a feature of its action space (unlike, say, Die Hard) and concentrates instead on gruesome makeup effects, hoary one-liners and the conventional depletion of cast members. A couple of performances and some nice jokes survive the enervating noise and mayhem.
