Destination Moon (1950)
Country: US
Technical: col 91m
Director: Irving Pichel
Cast: Warner Anderson, John Archer, Tom Powers
Synopsis:
U.S. scientists and industrialists collude to put astronauts on the Moon, in which they succeed, but getting everybody home proves more of a challenge.
Review:
One of the first George Pal feature productions (after a decade in animation) and it is par for the course: strong on design and colour, but with stilted dialogue and variable acting. They got better.
