Yet another variation on the Diaboliques formula after a decade of Hammer imitations. This one makes great play of the limping gait of the deceased, whose sound effect echoes around the hallways of the house, apparently originating in the conservatory. Not badly mounted but pedestrian in execution, especially if you have seen the twist coming.
