Extreme Prejudice (1987)
Country: US
Technical: col 104m
Director: Walter Hill
Cast: Nick Nolte, Powers Boothe, Michael Ironside
Synopsis:
Childhood buddies find themselves on opposite sides of the law when they confront each other over a Mexican drugs cartel.
Review:
Hill's homage to Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch is a rough and ready affair, with plenty of macho posturing among the leads but none of the thoughtful dignity of Holden, Borgnine and Ryan's performances. The long-awaited climax, however, could hardly be said to disappoint.
