Fantastic Four (2005)
Country: US/GER
Technical: col/2.35:1 106m
Director: Tim Story
Cast: Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, Jessica Alba
Synopsis:
Astronauts suffer cosmic radiation exposure during a space mission and return to Earth with special powers. Fortunately there is an arch-enemy of mankind, Victor Von Doom, on whom to exercise them.
Review:
Tired comic book nonsense, this nevertheless takes itself a lot less seriously than most, if that is a good thing. The tone, however, was out of step with the nascent Marvel Cinematic Universe and, like the Hulk, it soon became ripe for rebooting.
