French Kiss (1995)
Country: US
Technical: col 111m
Director: Lawrence Kasdan
Cast: Kevin Kline, Meg Ryan, Timothy Hutton, Jean Reno, François Cluzet
Synopsis:
When a woman conquers her fears of flying and journeys to France to get her fiancé back, a fellow passenger and jewel thief takes advantage of her to smuggle in a stolen necklace, and a tempestuous relationship begins.
Review:
Journeyman romantic comedy, which no doubt looked good on paper, not least the idea of the manic Kline playing a Frenchman, but instead merely proves laboured and unfunny. To make matters worse, there is no chemistry between the star couple.
