Review:
A celebratory reboot of the original sequels, with contributions from Carpenter himself this time, and the return of Curtis, who had thus appeared throughout the franchise at twenty year intervals! As directed by Green it is in fact a very well made shocker, interspersing Grand Guignol moments of gore with offscreen killings, but cannot avoid the trap of having characters do the most unlikely things to engineer the necessary plot mechanics. Needless to say, this was not the end but merely the first in a trilogy from the same source.
