A pretty aimless movie much of the time, with lots of road shots, hi-jinks on bikes and an interminable party sequence. It was all done a lot better in The Wild One but of course the only real reason for watching this now is the presence of Nicholson, who twinkles a lot and gives some indication of the magnetism to come, though he is denied the iconoclastic role he would make his own. Shot by Laszlo Kovacs, reportedly in two weeks and it shows.
