Review:
A fitting conclusion to the Jones series after a rocky central episode lacked the necessary mythological resonance. There's more comic book racism, of course, and it's not exactly clear what the Nazis are doing looking for the Holy Grail except that it's all part of reprising what was so successful about Raiders. In addition to the snakes, rats and moving vehicle chases, however, we also have a rather engaging personal element centred around the father-son relationship, with Connery in relaxed demeanour leaving no sigmatism unturned, besides an explanatory flashback prologue in the hills of Utah.
