The Intelligence Men (1965)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col 104m
Director: Robert Asher
Cast: Eric Morecambe, Ernie Wise, William Franklyn

Synopsis:

A coffee shop manager, thanks to his MI5 friend, finds himself impersonating an army major in order to infiltrate a criminal organisation that may be planning to assassinate a Russian ballerina.

Review:

The fabulous duo's first big screen foray was unfortunately yet another secret agent spoof, and the jokes are not very funny at that. A record of them in their prime, and welcome for that, but their repartee was better suited to the spontaneity of TV.
