Look Who's Talking (1989)
Country: US
Technical: col 96m
Director: Amy Heckerling
Cast: John Travolta, Kirstey Alley
Synopsis:
An unmarried mum looks for Mr Right, and the kid provides a running commentary on the soundtrack.
Review:
Essentially a bot-meets-girl plot tarted up with that particular brand of 'cutism' typified by a hundred nappy commercials. Not very original - even the baby in the womb was done in The Tin Drum - but mildly amusing and certainly calculated to please audiences so much they apparently demanded a sequel: Look Who's Talking Too.
