La montagna del dio cannibale (1978)

£0.00

(Slave of the Cannibal God)

Country: IT
Technical: col/scope 99m
Director: Sergio Martino
Cast: Ursula Andress, Stacy Keach, Claudio Cassinelli

Synopsis:

A woman's search for her missing husband takes her and her brother, together with a doctor, to Papua New Guinea, where they bicker amongst themselves and witness increasingly repellent native practices.

Review:

Notwithstanding the meretricious title, cannibalism is one thing you don't really get in this exploitation flick, a warm-up for the end-of-decade rash of cannibal movies, mostly from Italy. Instead we are regaled with animal evisceration and granted full frontal views of Miss Andress, on whose strung-up body much of the film's publicity machine depended.
