£0.00

Country: AUS/US
Technical: col/2.2:1 129m
Director: Andy Wachowski, Larry Wachowski
Cast: Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Monica Bellucci, Hugo Weaving

Synopsis:

As the Machines draw ever closer to Zion, Neo, having been rescued from limbo and prompted by the Oracle, pilots a ship towards the Machine city and has his final confrontation with Agent Smith.

Review:

The longer the series lasted, the more one began to question its absurdities - Is he flesh and blood in the matrix or isn't he? How does a planetary population starved of sunlight feed itself? - but after an atmospheric start this final instalment picks up the pace for a gripping finale and suitably reverent apotheosis. Quite where it leaves Planet Earth is unclear, but the effects are great.
