Highly efficient concept movie based on Pygmalion, but with the Higgins role split between gay tutor (Caine) and Freddy-like partner (Bratt). The star gets able support but essentially carries the movie, being convincingly smart, spunky and beautiful right on cue. Subtlety, however, is not a hallmark.
