Pretty much an African remake of MGM's successful pre-Code sizzler, Red Dust, with the added charm that Gable gets to play the same part opposite leading ladies who were scarcely out of nappies when the original was made. Ford marshals the action well enough, but this is tame indeed and scarcely better than travelogue.
