My Blue Heaven (1990)
Country: US
Technical: col 95m
Director: Herbert Ross
Cast: Steve Martin, Rick Moranis, Joan Cusack
Synopsis:
A state witness at a Mafia trial, himself a smalltime hood, is watched over by a prim FBI man who is in turn taught a thing or two.
Review:
Rather genteel and formally episodic (through use of title cards) fairytale comedy on a serious subject. It is not really funny enough to be forgiven its lapses in taste but has some carefree dance moments and somehow leaves you with a smile on your face as you leave the cinema.
