Red Line 7000 (1965)
Country: US
Technical: col 110m
Director: Howard Hawks
Cast: James Caan, Laura Devon
Synopsis:
Racing car drivers tend to their domestic relationships between laps, as their women fight with them along the bitter-sweet path to acceptance of their engrossing and dangerous profession.
Review:
Practically a remake of Hatari in a different setting, this is also another version of Only Angels Have Wings, of course; except that this time there is precious little drama and the acting is pedestrian. Definitely the director marking time.
