Sabrina (1954)
(Sabrina Fair)
Country: US
Technical: bw 113m
Director: Billy Wilder
Cast: Humphrey Bogart, William Holden, Audrey Hepburn, John Williams
Synopsis:
Two brothers of differing temperaments are both interested in the daughter of the family chauffeur.
Review:
When this was remade forty years later, the difference in age between the actors and the ingénue had closed partially, though Harrison Ford was still over twenty years older; here Bogart is positively twice Hepburn's age, which is faintly embarrassing. It's a rather toothless comedy for Wilder, too, more sentimental than usual.
