Save the Tiger (1973)
Country: US
Technical: col 100m
Director: John G. Avildsen
Cast: Jack Lemmon, Jack Gilford, Laurie Heineman
Synopsis:
A small businessman is in crisis. He is having flashbacks from his youth, his company owes loads of money, he is engaged in dodgy dealings and decides to get involved with animal rights activists.
Review:
A classic Lemmon part, and he does it really well, though the film is somewhat one-note. It is a catalogue, of course, of middle-aged male anxieties in 1970s America, and we probably have not moved on much.
