Very tired rehash of a very familiar plot for the sake of a vehicle for Pryor and Wilder. As if for fear of being tasteless very few jokes are actually made of the predicament of partial sight or hearing, however; rather the disabilities are used as motors for the unfunny action. Most of the attempts at humour depend on expletives or sexual 'innuendo' (the word has connotations of subtlety lost on this nadir of high-concept film making).
