Society (1989)
Country: US
Technical: col 99m
Director: Brian Yuzna
Cast: Bill Warlock, Devin DeVasquez
Synopsis:
A college student gradually comes to realize that his family and much of society are a different class of humans who feed on the poor by 'shunting' them, a truly gruesome sexual/cannibalistic practice.
Review:
For much of its length (too long) this plays like a variant of the Body Snatchers story but ends in Zulawski-style visceral horror. Witty at times and with a refreshingly radical view of American politics.
