Tales from the Crypt (1972)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col 92m
Director: Freddie Francis
Cast: Ralph Richardson, Geoffrey Bayldon, Peter Cushing, Joan Collins, Ian Hendry, Nigel Patrick

Synopsis:

Five flawed individuals visit a crypt and hear tales of their grisly deaths from the crypt keeper.

Review:

Milton Subotsky arranged these tales for Amicus, who thus extended their compendium format from Dr Terror's House of Horror (1964) into the Seventies. They each have suitably black and cruel twists with which to conclude, and always a splendid cast of British grandees to suffer them. The Ian Hendry segment is the best, with its victim caught in a circular nightmare.
