Review:
The kind of light comedy with songs from which Universal made a small fortune with Miss Durbin. Of course Douglas is too old for her, which is kind of the point of the title, and the film bears comparison with Bachelor Knight about ten years later. By the 1950s no one was batting an eyelid when Bogie flirted with Audrey Hepburn in Sabina, etc.
