That's Entertainment, Part II (1976)
Country: US
Technical: col/scope 133m
Director: Gene Kelly
Cast: MGM stars
Synopsis:
More clips from the great studio's musical output, with one or two bitesize compilations of comedy and drama extracts.
Review:
Ingratiatingly presented as it is by an aged Kelly and Astaire, this comes over as a bit of a mutual back-slapping exercise, besides exuding the air of nostalgic reverence common to this sort of thing. Compilations have come on since then, but the Garbo and Gable montages are entertaining for buffs and the hosts prove meanwhile that they can still dance everyone else off the screen.
