Theorem (1968)
Country: IT
Technical: col 98m
Director: Pier Paolo Pasolini
Cast: Terence Stamp, Silvana Mangano, Massimo Girotti
Synopsis:
A young man moves in with a bourgeois family and captivates each member to his or her undoing.
Review:
Very boring Sixties pretentiousness, with Mozart's Requiem coughing and spluttering on the soundtrack like a parody of a Godard film, but the interpolated shots of a rocky mountain landscape swept by cloud are very beautiful, if only in comparison with the thick, underlit colours of the rest of the film.
