The Train Robbers (1973)
Country: US
Technical: col/scope 92m
Director: Burt Kennedy
Cast: John Wayne, Ann-Margret, Rod Taylor
Synopsis:
A widow hires a gunman to return the gold her husband stole so that she can put his past behind her.
Review:
A misleadingly titled Western, with a score that shamelessly rips off Newman's How the West Was Won, this has a promising opening at a train depot to rival Leone's in Once Upon a Time in the West, and ends just as it starts to get going, but in between is pretty devoid of interest.
