Review:
The second film on this subject to be made in the same year (cf. Oscar Wilde), this certainly went for the grander packaging, though it is no better nor worse. It was made at a furious pace, which may be discernible from the odd inaccuracy, but Finch has the harder job as Wilde, which he brings off admirably.
